Stories From the Phog: Forty Years of Kansas Basketball, by David Chelan will be coming out on October 14.
This event will be held at the McPherson Community Building aka Home of the Globe Refiners
Stories From the Phog, published by the University Press of Kansas with a forward by Jayhawk announcer, Brian Hanni, takes readers on a decades-long journey of Kansas basketball through the eyes of a hoops junkie. Memories from KU fans are interspersed alongside those of players and all four living coaches, as well as descendants of James Naismith and Phog Allen.
Stories From the Phog captures the magic of Allen Fieldhouse and the rich tradition of the Jayhawks. But it is more than just basketball: it weaves pop culture, history, and family with pick and rolls and help side defense.
