Oil Paintings by Jill Stomberg opens In-Person
Simple Beauty, a collection of oil paintings by Jill Stomberg will be displayed in the library gallery from June 1 to August 19. A closing reception will be held August 19 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.
An award-winning artist, Stromberg’s impressionistic style softly interweaves light and color. She loves to paint outdoors, especially in the flint hills, the southwest, and along the beach. She paints quickly, capturing the bold shapes of color and light on her subject matter.
She currently lives in Sterling, Kansas with her Husband, Mac, and their two cats and one dog. When she isn’t painting, she enjoys spending evenings at home, cooking, entertaining, traveling, gardening, and volunteering.
